5 miles = 1 hour, 4 seconds

That is what I accomplished on Tuesday night. Yea! I need to work on the time a little. At least I did it, though. I had to take it easy yesterday because I was soooooo sore. I am going to jog a little tonight, but am not going to overdo it because I was to be loose for the 8k on Saturday. I picked up my packet today. I am getting pumped.

What's Been Going On?

I really started back at the gym 2 days after Thanksgiving. The day after Thanksgiving was devoted to sleeplessness and shopping, of course. From November 27 to January 16, I completed 1800 minutes at the gym and lost a couple inches. That does not include the time that I spent walking outside or my completing to Red Nose Run 5k in 14 degree weather in 34:11. Yea! Next up? I have signed up for the 6th Annual Brenda Ladun Conquer Cancer 8k which is next weekend. I have been jogging 3.5 miles on the track at the gym. Today I am going to aim for 4 miles. I think I can do it. I will let you know soon.
